In the morning of December 2nd 2017, Transport Engineering Design Inc. – JSC (TEDI) held a Conference on Capital Representation and Training on Corporate Governance at Muong Thanh Hotel, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province. This was one in a series of activities to celebrate the 55th anniversary of TEDI’s establishment, which were approved by the Board of Management from the beginning of the year.

Participation in the conference were members of the Board of Management, the Supervisor Board, the Board of General Directors / Directors, representatives of the capital and TEDI supervisors at the subsidiary companies as well as key leaders of companies in TEDI company group.

At the conference, The Board of Management summarized the results achieved in Capital Representation in 3 years from 2015 to 2017, discussed and then agreed on the operation orientations for 2018 and the upcoming years. They also figured out ways to evaluate and enhance the efficiency of corporate governance and business administration according to the new model/system; capital management and investment assets in Subsidiaries, as well as the coordination among the units within the TEDI Group. In addition, The Board of Management spent time listening to comments from the Board of Directors of the Corporation and capital representatives in the Company on the above contents.

Training on Corporate Governance was taken place in the afternoon of the same day by Dr. Le Cong Hoa, Head of Business Administration Department, National Economics University. Dr. Hoa had conveyed and exchanged knowledge and experiences on corporate governance to the conference attendees. This is a precious opportunity for the audiences to reap more information, improve awareness and insights of corporate governance for joint stock company which will in turn help the capital representation of the Corporation to be more and more effective, ensuring the efficiency of the Corporation’s capital investment in subsidiaries.
