Project highlights: This is Vietnam’s first specialized international cruise ship port designed to accommodate the largest passenger ships up to 225,282GRT (with a total number of people on board up to 8,460 people). The project has a total investment of more than 1,000 billion VND. The project consists of a 461m-long berth combined by a landing platform (130m long; 30m wide), 06 anchor posts (20m long; 12m wide) and working piers. In addition, the project also has a bridge connecting the shore with the berth with a length of 706m; 10.5m wide and the item Turning area with an area of about 2780m2.
Description of application of advanced science and technology and software: the access bridge route is constructed and assembled with prestressed reinforced concrete “U” beams with a span of 30m and using simple prestressed reinforced concrete beams with a hollow slab section of 20m span for Auxiliary bridges connect from the landing floor to the anchor posts. The pile foundation of the project has a combination of different types of piles: bored pile D1200mm; D1000mm steel pipe pile and D800mm prestressed reinforced concrete pile for construction items
