My Thuan 2 Bridge

My Thuan 2 Bridge starts at Km101+126 at An Thai Trung intersection, located on the expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho City, connecting the two expressways Trung Luong – My Thuan and My Thuan – Can Tho, connecting the two provinces of Vinh Long and Tien Giang, is a vital route, with the largest traffic volume among the main national highways in the region.

My Thuan 2 Bridge was directly consulted and designed by TEDI Engineers. This is a national key project, a special-grade road traffic project, with a total route length of about 6.61 km (My Thuan 2 bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge). In particular, My Thuan 2 Bridge has a main span with a cable-stayed structure with a span of 350m, a navigation clearance of 37.5m, and a bridge deck width of 28m (including 6 lanes).

During the design process of My Thuan 2 Bridge, TEDI’s team of engineers applied many advanced technologies and software to come up with optimal design solutions. In particular, TEDI applied BIM technology in the design of My Thuan 2 Bridge.

When put into operation, this project has helped reduce the pressure of the existing My Thuan Bridge. The project creates new development space, new growth momentum, promotes investment attraction… Contributing to the completion of the province’s socio-economic development goals for the period 2021-2025 and the following years.
