Highlights of the project and Description of advanced science, technology and software applications:
The main bridge across the Red River is 1.56km long, the access road to Phu Tho is 0.36 km long, the access road to Hanoi is about 7.54km long.
The bridge has a width of 12.0m, including 2 motorized lanes of 7.0 m wide, 2 mixed lanes of 4.0m wide and 2 roadsides of 1.0m wide.
The structure of the main bridge consists of 6 spans of prestressed reinforced concrete continuous box girder constructed by the method of balanced cantilever casting, the approach bridge is designed in the form of Super “T” girder, the deck surface of reinforced concrete.
