The North-South Expressway Project, Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet section, has a route length of about 100.8km, passing through Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Thuan Nam districts of Binh Thuan province. The completed design phase is an expressway, with a design speed of 100-120 km/h.
Phase I, Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet Expressway is invested in building a 17m wide road surface with 4 lanes, speed of 80 km/h; the completed phase is 32m wide, with a scale of 6 lanes.
The project has a total investment of 10,850 billion VND, started in September 2020. The Ministry of Transport put it into temporary operation on May 19, 2023.
