The North-South Expressway Project, Mai Son – National Highway 45 section

The North-South Expressway Project, Mai Son – National Highway 45 section, has a total route length of 63.37 km, passing through the territory of Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces. The starting point of the project (Km274+111.86) at the Mai Son intersection connects with Provincial Road 477 (coinciding with the end point of the Cao Bo – Mai Son section investment and construction component project), located in Yen Mo district, Ninh Binh province; the end point (Km 337+478.11, coinciding with the starting point of the National Highway 45 – Nghi Son section project), located in Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province. Of which, the road construction length is 57.32 km, the bridge construction length is 5.12 km, the tunnel construction length is 0.93 km. The section passing through Thanh Hoa province is 49.02 km long and passing through Ninh Binh province is 14.35 km long. Phase 1 of the project is designed to have 4 lanes and a design speed of 80 km/h.
