Thung Thi Tunnel (Ha Trung District, Thanh Hoa Province) under the North-South Expressway Project, Mai Son – National Highway 45 section, has been completed and put into operation since April 30, 2023.
Thung Thi Tunnel belongs to Package 12 on the North-South Expressway, Mai Son – National Highway 45 section. The package includes 5.7km of road, 680m of tunnel, starting point in Ha Tien Commune, ending point in Ha Linh Commune, Ha Trung District. Thung Thi Tunnel is a permanent project, consisting of 2 tunnels, each tunnel has a scale of 3 lanes for motor vehicles and 1 lane for pedestrians, fully equipped with lighting and ventilation systems.
