The Tran Hoang Na Bridge construction project is part of the Can Tho City Development and Urban Resilience Project funded by the World Bank. The project started construction in September 2020 and was inaugurated in April 2024.
Tran Hoang Na Bridge crosses the Can Tho River, connecting Ninh Kieu and Cai Rang districts.
The bridge has a length including an approach road of 820m with 4 lanes. The width on the Ninh Kieu side is 37m, on the Cai Rang side is 23m. The width of the bridge at the main span is 23m, the side span is 29.3m, and at the observation deck is 34.6m. The clearance height is 7m, the clearance on both banks is 4.75m.
The bridge is designed as an arch bridge, including three structural spans of 49m + 150m + 49m, the total length of the bridge is 586.9m, the design speed is 60 km/h.
