On the morning of June 24, 2024, Transport Engineering Design Inc. (TEDI) in collaboration with CIC Technology and Consulting Joint Stock Company organized a Workshop to introduce BIM solutions applied to the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway project.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, General Director Dao Ngoc Vinh shared some information about the research and application of BIM at TEDI for transport infrastructure construction projects,… and expressed his sincere thanks to CIC Company and representatives of Bentley Software Company for arranging time to come to TEDI to introduce and discuss the possibility of applying the Bentley software ecosystem in designing BIM models for high-speed railway projects in the world and the possibility of applying it to urban railway and high-speed railway projects in Vietnam.
Delegates attending the Workshop listened to representatives of CIC Company and Bentley experts introduce the following contents:
- Introduction to Bentley and BIM solutions for High-speed Railway;
- Introduction to the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway (length 142km, maximum speed 350km with 13 tunnels, 46 bridges, 3 stations and connecting infrastructure);
- Project milestones and achievements;
Next were the exchanges between TEDI engineers attending the Workshop and experts from CIC, Bentley on the related calculation solutions in applying BIM in the above Project. The two sides committed to increasing the exchange of experiences and cooperation in the future in related fields.
