On June 19, 2024, Transport Design Consulting Corporation – JSC (TEDI) in collaboration with Vietnam – Japan Research and Development Center (ViJARD) and Ashimori Industry Co., Ltd., (Japan) organized a Workshop to introduce the LFR sheet method applied in the construction of embankments in weak geological conditions.
Delegates attending the Workshop listened to a representative of Ashimori Industry Co., Ltd. introduce the following contents:
- Introduction to the LFR sheet (lattice-frame-reinforced sheet) method applied in the construction of embankments in weak geological conditions;
- Actual projects have been implemented.
During the Workshop, TEDI engineers and Ashimori Industry experts had in-depth discussions on the LFR sheet method, its applications, advantages and disadvantages, as well as solutions to problems arising during the project implementation process. The two sides committed to strengthening cooperation in the future in related contents.
