On September 16, 2023 TEDI participated in the Cua Thoi bridge joining ceremony of the Coastal Road Project from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An) section from Km7+000 to Km76+000.
The Coastal Road project from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An) section from Km7+000 to Km76+000 has the starting point in Hoang Mai Town and the ending point in Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. The route is designed according to class III delta road standards, Vtk = 80km/h (TCVN 4054-2005).
Cua Thoi Bridge located at Km31+836 is a large bridge on the coastal road from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An) section from Km7+000 to Km76+000. Bridge over Thai River at Lach Thoi estuary in Quynh Thuan commune, Son Hai commune and Quynh Tho commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province.
Cua Thoi Bridge has a length of more than 867m, the main bridge is a cantilever bridge with a length of 178m, the main span is 78m long, the bridge leading towards Quynh Thuan commune is about 324.3m long, the bridge leading towards Quynh Tho commune is about 364.3m long. The bridge is designed to ensure 2 motor vehicle lanes and 2 rudimentary vehicle lanes, bridge deck width of 12m, design speed of 80km/h. Cua Thoi Bridge has a construction cost of more than 273 billion VND. Bridge construction time: 30 months as expected, but now after about 18 months, the contractor has completed the main bridge.
TEDI performs the FS step, Detailed Design for the entire large bridges part of the project, including Cua Thoi bridge.
