On August 31, 2023, TEDI organized a Science and Technology Workshop with 2 contents:
– Research bridge structures using flexible piers and compare with conventional rigid pier bridges
– Design of asphalt concrete pavement for the airport.
The workshop was organized based on the practical need to compare the economic and technical properties between two design solutions: flexible abutments/pillars or conventional rigid abutments/pillars to come up with the most optimal construction solution. economic and technical aspects for traffic projects.
Delegates listened to related presentations presented by TEDI-SED and TEDI-HAED, as well as participated in lively discussions about the contents of the presentations.
