The online working session and signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Transport Engineering Design Inc. (TEDI) and ASANO TAISEIKISO Engineering Co., Ltd. (ATK)-Japan took place on the morning of October 4, 2021.
The following TEDI representatives were present at the signing ceremony: Mr. Hitoshi Yahagi – Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of Oriental Consultants Global Co., Ltd. – Hanoi Office & Hochiminh Office, Mr. Pham Huu Son – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors cum General Director, Mr. Do Minh Dung – Deputy General Director, Mr. Kim Dieu Quan – Head of the Marketing and Project Formation Department, and Mr. Bui Xuan Hanh – Deputy Director of the Engineering Survey Data and Services Div.
ATK’s representatives include Mr. Mitsunobu Hirayama – President, Mr. Tsuyoshi Shiga – Manager of International Business Promotion Department, Mr. Katsumasa Yamamoto – Chief Representative – Ho Chi Minh City Representative Office, and representatives from the Human Resources Department, International Business Promotion Department, etc.
Mr. Mitsunobu Hirayama, ATK’s representative, expressed his satisfaction at today’s signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding, hoping that it will be a watershed moment in the cooperation and implementation of projects in Vietnam based on ATK’s strengths in the fields of building protection and climate change adaptation, as well as metro maintenance technology. Following that, the two parties will discuss and implement the specific terms as soon as possible, with the aim that ATK and TEDI will work together to further deepen their cooperative partnership.
General Director Pham Huu Son, speaking at the signing ceremony, believes that the content of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties will mark the beginning of a good cooperation relationship between the two parties, based on each party’s strengths and the feasibility of the projects, and that this cooperation will result in the success of many projects. TEDI hopes that, in the future, the parties will have many opportunities to collaborate or share based on the strengths of each party’s technology, equipment, human resource, and experience to provide high-quality geotechnical research, survey, and design services, groundwater development services, construction quality control services, soil and groundwater pollution detection services and other services in Vietnam.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation Program is in effect from October 4, 2021, to October 3, 2022, and it can be extended during the cooperation process for subjects of common interest to both parties.
