On 09 December 2025, Transport Engineering Design Incorporated (TEDI), in cooperation with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan (MLIT), the Japan Association for Small and Medium Construction Enterprises Promotion (JASMOC), and OCG Corporation, successfully organized the “Seminar on the Introduction of Japanese Construction and Transport Infrastructure Technologies and Products.”
The seminar was a significant professional event aimed at strengthening international cooperation and facilitating the transfer of advanced technologies in the fields of construction and transport infrastructure development between Viet Nam and Japan. The event attracted the participation of a large number of TEDI experts and engineers.
The seminar was honored by the presence of distinguished delegates and specialists:
- Japanese side: Representatives of the International Market Division of Japan’s MLIT; the Japan Association for Small and Medium Construction Enterprises Promotion (JASMOC); OCG Corporation; and representatives of Japanese small and medium enterprises, including HANABI, Heisei, CE Management Integrated Laboratory, Rontai, and GO Power.
- TEDI side: Mr. Do Minh Dung, Deputy General Director; leaders and engineers from the Design Centers and the Basic Data Center; and representatives from the Quality Control & Research and Development Department.
Representatives of TEDI and MLIT delivered welcome remarks, emphasizing the importance of bilateral technological cooperation. Participants were briefed by TEDI on the TEDI’s overall capabilities, key ongoing and completed projects, and the technologies currently being applied. Subsequently, Japanese enterprises presented advanced technical solutions in the following areas:
- Advanced transport and civil construction technologies;
- Solar power technologies (GO Power);
- Specialized methods for geotechnical investigation, analysis, and concrete testing;
- Environmentally friendly solutions for slope greening and stabilization.
Through in-depth technical presentations and discussion sessions, the seminar opened up numerous potential cooperation opportunities, promoting the application of advanced Japanese technologies in key transport infrastructure development projects in Viet Nam.
TEDI reaffirms its commitment to continuing its role as a bridge for international cooperation, organizing collaborative initiatives to enhance professional capacity, stay abreast of emerging technological trends, and make practical contributions to the sustainable development of Viet Nam’s transport sector.
