On 10 November 2025, TEDI (Transport Engineering Design Inc. – JSC) organized a workshop titled “Introducing Slab Track Technology Using Prefabricated Concrete Panels by PORR Group (Austria).” The event was attended by TEDI leadership, representatives from PORR Group, Vinh Hung Company, and TEDI’s railway infrastructure experts and engineers
At the workshop, PORR representatives presented detailed solutions for slab track construction using prefabricated concrete panels, a technology widely applied in high-speed rail and urban railway systems across Europe. The technology offers high durability, reduced maintenance costs, improved operational stability and comfort, rapid and precise construction, and environmental benefits.
TEDI and PORR experts engaged in in-depth discussions on applying this technology to Vietnam’s North–South high-speed rail projects and urban railway networks, addressing increasing demands for quality, sustainability, and investment efficiency.
The workshop provided an important opportunity for TEDI to expand international cooperation, stay updated on advanced railway infrastructure technologies, and enhance consultancy and design capabilities while promoting the adoption of modern solutions in national transport projects.
