On 22–23 November 2025, Transport Engineering Design Incorporated (TEDI) joined the field delegation of the National Assembly’s Economic and Finance Committee at the Vinh – Thanh Thuy Expressway Investment and Construction Project. The mission aimed to survey current conditions, review technical requirements, and evaluate the project’s investment preparation progress.
The delegation, led by Mr. Nguyen Minh Son, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, inspected the route alignment, interchanges, planned bridge and tunnel locations, and sections with complex terrain and geological conditions. Key technical aspects reviewed included route orientation, cross-sectional design, phased investment plans, land acquisition requirements, and connectivity with the regional transport network.
At the working session, TEDI representatives presented detailed reports on the preliminary design, results of topographic, geotechnical, and hydrological surveys, and proposed optimized route solutions to ensure operational safety, efficiency, and alignment with Nghe An Province’s transport infrastructure development plan. TEDI also recommended additional technical inputs for the next stage to shorten the investment preparation timeline and enhance project feasibility.
The delegation highly appreciated the efforts of TEDI and other consulting units in ensuring high-quality documentation, compliance with current standards, and active coordination with local authorities throughout project implementation.
The Vinh – Thanh Thuy Expressway Project is a key national expressway connection, contributing to the completion of Vietnam’s expressway network, enhancing trade between the North Central region and Laos, and promoting socio-economic development in the area.
