On October 2, 2025, within the framework of international cooperation, the Transport Engineering Design Inc. (TEDI) welcomed and held a working session with the delegation from the Anhui Institute of Construction Inspection and Research (China) at its headquarters. The meeting aimed to exchange expertise, strengthen mutual understanding, and explore strategic cooperation opportunities in the field of construction inspection and consultancy.
Representing TEDI, Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hà – Deputy General Director – together with engineers and staff of TEDI attended the meeting. The delegation from the Anhui Institute was led by Mr. Wu Dongbiao – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director, and Chief Engineer, accompanied by Mr. Li Tianbao – Director and Senior Manager, and Mr. Xia Ridong – Deputy General Director and Deputy Chief Economist of the Urban Construction Comprehensive Institute.
In an open and constructive atmosphere, Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hà presented an overview of TEDI’s development over more than 60 years, with nearly 1,400 staff members, 10 subsidiaries, multidisciplinary capabilities, and a strong track record as one of Vietnam’s leading transportation engineering consultancy firms. In response, Mr. Wu Dongbiao introduced Anhui Institute of Construction Inspection and Research, established in 1952, boasting a team of over 500 professors and associate professors, recognized as a top Class A national inspection institute in China. The Institute holds strong expertise in areas such as soft ground treatment, drainage system inspection, and high-speed railway engineering, with more than 20 patented technologies.
Both sides exchanged in-depth discussions on capabilities and experiences in construction inspection, quality assessment, adoption of new technologies, design consultancy, and project management. The Anhui delegation expressed interest in learning from Vietnam’s experience in implementing major transportation infrastructure projects, while TEDI emphasized its desire to enhance cooperation in inspection, research, and application of advanced technical solutions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to strengthen technical exchanges, expand cooperation in research and technology transfer, and jointly implement inspection and consultancy projects in the future. The working session not only reinforced mutual partnership but also opened up long-term collaboration prospects, aligned with the trends of integration and modernization in the transportation sector.
