The event was attended by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, leaders of central ministries, the Lam Dong People’s Committee, and local residents.
TEDI (Transport Engineering Design Inc.) served as the consulting unit for the feasibility study, detailed design, and construction drawings, completing the design work on schedule and fully complying with technical standards while aligning with regional infrastructure development goals. Representatives from TEDI included General Director Dao Ngoc Vinh, Deputy General Director Nguyen Manh Ha, Director of the Road & Airport Design Center Nguyen Ngoc Tien, and project engineers.
The Bao Loc – Lien Khuong Highway is a key section of the Dau Giay – Lien Khuong corridor, stretching 73.6 km from Km126+484.93 (connecting to National Highway 51, Bao Loc City) to Km200+100 (connecting to Lien Khuong – Prenn Expressway, Hiep Thanh Commune). Designed to Grade I highway standards, the 4-lane route features a design speed of 100 km/h, with over 47 km of service roads, 19 km of cross connections, and two rest areas of 5 hectares each.
Implemented under a PPP/BOT model, the construction is expected to take 30 months, with an operational period of nearly 20 years. Upon completion, the highway will enhance connectivity between Da Lat City and the Southeast region, shorten travel times, and promote socio-economic development, tourism, and high-tech agriculture in Lam Dong Province and the Central Highlands.
