On January 8, 2021, the Government Office held a meeting on the Hoa Binh – Moc Chau expressway project, Son La province chaired by the Minister, Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung with the participation of the Party Secretary of Son La province Nguyen Huu Dong; Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Son La Hoang Quoc Khanh; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Son La Le Hong Minh and related departments; Deputy Director of Government Office Nguyen Cao Luc; Leadership Representatives of Government Offices: Industry; General economy; Law; National Assembly work; Local; Union; Representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transport.
After listening to the report of the Secretary of the Party Committee of Son La and the report of TEDI, the opinions of the representatives of the ministries, related agencies, the investor, the Minister, Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung highly appreciated initiative of Son La province, Investor, Consulting unit in the process of project preparation.
This is a particularly important project and is the lifeline connecting Hanoi capital with the Northwest region, northern Laos and China, in accordance with the policy of the National Assembly in Resolution No. 120/2020 / QH14. on the approval of the investment policy of the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030.
At the meeting, delegates agreed on the minutes to submit to the Prime Minister the adjusted contents of the investment policy of the project, the Minister – Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung requested the Ministry of Planning and Investment to reimburse into appraisal procedures before January 15, 2020 to serve as the basis for the Prime Minister to approve adjustments to the investment policy before the XIII Party Congress and strive to implement component projects right after Lunar New Year.
