FIDIC awarded is awarded to honour the projects implemented by FIDIC members. FIDIC has done well its role as technical consulting service and project management service rider. The Project should set up the following criterion :
- Promoting main principles of FIDIC on quality – integrity – sustainability ;
- Helping to advertise the work of technical consultants, and their contributions to the quality of life;
- Encouraging people to learn and advocate FIDIC’s principles;
- Demonstrating the best practice in management and leadership in projects of all sizes over the world;
- Getting contributions of technical consultant for projects, which emphasizes sustainability, economy, environmental impacts, contribution to the social communities and quality of life.
FIDIC awards 2021 have been announced in the annual meeting of FIDIC on International Infrastructure on September 14, 2021 in Switzerland.
Hoang Van Thu bridge, designed by TEDI, is part of Bac Song Cam Urban Development Project. Hoang Van Thu bridge is 1.6km with special design, which got its inspirations, Hai Phong city Cnet took the inspiration from seagulls, connection of Hai Phong downtown to Bac Song Cam the new urban development .
The bridge’s structure is designed and constructed completely by Vietnamese Engineers and civil Projects. The main body of the bridge, weighed over VND4,000, including a steel vault of 1700 MT, it is the first CFST bridge in this text is the first CFST weight, and it is the first bridge among like structures in Vietnam.
The completion of Hoang Van Thu bridge is highly significant in implementation of Bac Song Cam New Urban. It is one step in the step-by-step completion of the new down town system, in line with the urban space development orientation, and master planning of Hai Phong city.
The bridge has nice, appropriate design, high vertical clearance to ensure navigation, it is calculated to match the city’s future development.
FIDIC winning awards in 2021 include 22 construction projects and high quality infrastructures and civilization from all over the world. .
