On the morning of 19 April, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony of major national and large-scale projects in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the National Reunification (30 April 1975 – 30 April 2025). The landmark event was held in both in-person and online formats, simultaneously connecting 80 key projects nationwide across all three regions of Viet Nam. The Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers attended major venues of the event.
Joining the vibrant atmosphere of the simultaneous groundbreaking and inauguration of 83 transport infrastructure projects nationwide as directed by the Government, the Ministry of Construction reported that the projects launched or inaugurated on this occasion represent a total investment of more than VND 445 trillion. Among these, 40 projects belong to the transport sector. TEDI is honored to serve as the consulting firm for 11 out of these 40 key transport projects, spanning across the country.
The projects undertaken by TEDI cover critical sectors such as expressways, urban ring roads, major river crossings, and inter-regional connectivity routes. These are large-scale projects with high technical requirements, playing a vital role in completing the national transport infrastructure system, creating momentum for socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security. Notable projects include the Eastern North–South Expressway, the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway, the Rach Mieu 2 cable-stayed bridge, and the grade-separated interchange between Hanoi Ring Road No. 3.5 and Thang Long Boulevard.

As a leading consulting firm in the transport sector, TEDI is involved in key stages including surveys, technical design, construction drawing design, and technical support during project implementation. Advanced technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital technologies, and automation continue to be applied by TEDI to optimize project progress and quality.

This event carries significant importance, marking a strong transition in the strategy for developing a modern and integrated infrastructure system, toward the goal of transforming Viet Nam into a high-income developed country by 2045. It also represents a major milestone reflecting the coordinated efforts of central and local authorities and participating organizations, in which TEDI continues to affirm its pioneering role in transport engineering design consultancy and its active contribution to the modernization of the national infrastructure system.
