On 16 July 2025, at the headquarters of Transport Engineering Design Inc. (TEDI), Mr. Pham Huu Son, Chairman of TEDI, presided over a reception and working session with the delegation of Chongqing Urban Transport Development & Investment Group (China), led by Mr. Wu Jiahong, Chief Executive Officer of the Group.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed potential cooperation opportunities across various sectors, with a particular focus on the development of urban railway projects—an area in which the Chongqing Urban Transport Development & Investment Group possesses strong capabilities in investment, technology, and operations. Representatives of the Group expressed their desire to establish a strategic partnership with TEDI to jointly develop modern and sustainable urban railway systems in Vietnam in the coming period.
The Chairman of TEDI highly appreciated the cooperation orientation proposed by the Chongqing Urban Transport Development & Investment Group and affirmed that TEDI remains committed to partnering with reputable international organizations to promote technology transfer, enhance consultancy quality, and contribute effectively to the development of Vietnam’s modern urban transport infrastructure.
The working session marks a positive first step, opening promising prospects for collaboration between the two leading enterprises in the transport and infrastructure sectors of Vietnam and China. TEDI reaffirms its commitment to proactively seeking and engaging with suitable partners to deliver practical value to national transport projects.
