On 4 March 2025, TEDI collaborated with JIVC Joint Stock Company, the official representative of PRS Geotech Technologies Ltd (Israel), to hold a workshop introducing Neoweb technology for reinforcing foundations in roads, railways, airports, and seaports. The workshop gathered 30 staff and engineers from TEDI’s design centers and subsidiaries.
PRS experts presented global applications of Neoweb, a geocell system made from synthetic Novel Polymeric Alloy (Neoloy) strips forming a honeycomb network. This technology effectively strengthens weak soil foundations, enhances load distribution, and improves durability. Neoweb has been successfully applied in Vietnam for irrigation projects, including canals, embankments, dams, and reservoirs.
The workshop facilitated knowledge-sharing, lively discussions on design methods, and potential applications in Vietnam’s transport infrastructure, emphasizing quality improvement, cost optimization, and accelerated construction.
With TEDI’s transport design expertise and JIVC’s deep knowledge of Neoweb, this collaboration is expected to enhance the performance, sustainability, and efficiency of future infrastructure projects in Vietnam.
