On the afternoon of 9 January 2025, in Vientiane, Laos, the 2025 Vietnam – Laos Investment Cooperation Conference was held. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam and Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone of Laos witnessed the signing of investment and cooperation agreements worth several billion USD between agencies and partners from both countries.
Among the notable agreements, Sovico Group and Transport Engineering Design Incorporated (TEDI) signed a consultancy contract with the Lao Ministry of Public Works and Transport and the Lao Airports Corporation to conduct surveys and develop a comprehensive master plan for the country’s airport and air transport system through 2030, with a vision toward 2050.
From 8–11 January 2025, Mr. Dao Ngoc Vinh, General Director of TEDI, led a business trip to Laos to implement activities related to the airport system development project and participate in the Investment Cooperation Conference.
This event highlights TEDI’s growing expertise in aviation consultancy and reinforces the confidence of state agencies and partners in TEDI’s capacity to contribute to major airport and aviation projects. The project demonstrates TEDI’s high-level professional capability in research and master planning, while also affirming its leading position in both regional and international markets.
