Based on the Decision No. 415/QD-UBND dated April 8, 2021 of the People’s Committee of Ninh Binh province approving the Regulation on competition for design of architectural plans for the Van River bridge, Ninh Binh province; and based on the Open Letter No. 1107/SGTVT-TN dated June 9, 2021 of the Department of Transport of Ninh Binh on the invitation to participate in the competition to design the architectural plan for the Van River bridge, Ninh Binh province; In order to have the most optimal architectural plan for this competition, TEDI has issued Notice No. 1754/TB-TEDI dated June 15, 2021 of the Corporation on the assignment of preparing the application for the architectural plan design of the Van River bridge, Ninh Binh province, which requires TEDI’s design units to have an architectural plan for internal competition.
On July 10, 2021, at TEDI, Chairman of the TEDI Science and Technology Council – General Director Pham Huu Son chaired a meeting to select the optimal architectural option for the Van River bridge. The selected option will be sent to the competition. Attending the meeting were members of the TEDI ‘s Science and Technology Council.
The council heard the engineers of the units presented reports on 08 architectural ideas for the Van River bridge, including: Sutructure Engineering Division (SED) 01 option; Highway and Airport Engineering Division (03 options) and Railway and Road Engineering Division (04 options)
After listening to the report on ideas about PAKT and solutions for the bridge structure of the Van River, the members of the Science and Technology Council gave comments and explanations from the units, the Chairman of the TEDI Science and Technology Council – the General Director had a conclusion as follows:
Praising the following units: Sutructure Engineering Division, Highway and Airport Engineering Division and Railway and Road Engineering Division have implemented and completed the preparation of 08 options documents for the Van River Bridge.
The Council has selected 03 options for the Van River Bridge. The options are ranked first, second and third in the order of votes as follows:
